Day 1Surfing - Milibangalala - Maputo Special Reserve

General Photography Landscape photography Wildlife Photography CultureDay 1: This morning will be an early one! You can expect your guide to pick you up from your location in Maputo at approximately 5:30am. On the way, the guide will give you a light breakfast to enjoy while we cross the ferry to Catembe. By now, we are on our way to the Reserve, but first, we will make a stop at the village of Salamanga to visit a Hindu Temple and a traditional bread factory. Upon arrival at the Maputo Special Reserve, and on our way to lunch, you'll begin to notice wildlife roaming about, a casual drive through a magnificent habitat. Once we finish our lunch in the bush, we will continue on towards Milibangalala where we will camp overnight. When we arrive, the set will begin camp setup and you have a chance to relax or hit the waves for the rest of the day. This evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner served up by our camp chef and we will camp in semi-luxury tents.
