Then later, after dinner, you have the opportunity for an optional night game drive in the Estate to discover some fascinating nocturnal animals such as porcupines, civet cats, genets (slender cat-like animals) and leopards.
Day 3Gwango (Hwange area) to Bulawayo
On this day, we head south towards the captivating Matobo National Park, which is located at the Matobo or Matopos Hills, a scenic area of granite kopjes and wooded valleys. The charming and gorgeous Banff Park Lodge Hotel in the leafy suburb of Ilanda, Bulawayo, the second-largest city in Zimbabwe - but the largest in the country's Matebelelan - will be your home for the next two nights.
Day 4Bulawayo (Matobo National Park)
Today, we shall enjoy a day full day game drive in the Matobo National Park. The visitors to this splendid park, which forms the core of the Matobo or Matopos Hills, regularly spot white and black rhino, sable antelope, and impala, among other amazing and diverse wildlife.

Today we cross the Zimbabwean and South African border and overnight at the authentic Klein Bolayi Game Lodge in Musina. The Klein Bolayi Game Lodge is set in the Limpopo Valley, in the heart of the world`s largest concentration of Baobab trees, surrounded by fascinating granite outcrops in pristine bushveld vegetation.
Day 6Musina to Johannesburg
On this day of the tour, we travel to Johannesburg, South Africa’s largest city, and also known as Egoli, or The City of Gold, referring to the gold mining history of this fast-paced city. You could book a day or two post-tour to explore this fast-paced city. This would then allow you to visit the famous Gold Reef City amusement park. Or, for the historically inclined, there is the ever-popular Soweto tour or just jump on a Hop-On-Hop-Off tour bus to discover Johannesburg at your own pace. Tonight, you have the opportunity to dine in one of the many excellent restaurants the city offers.
Day 7 Johannesburg
Today marks the end of the tour. We have our last delicious breakfast together, say our goodbyes and depart.
