Summary
The Desert & Delta tour kicks off with a visit to the spectacular Victoria Falls, also known by the local name of “Mosi-oa Tunya” (the smoke that thunders), where a range of optional activities awaits us. We explore Chobe National Park, which has one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. The next highlight of this tour is the Okavango Delta in Botswana, where exploring is a must. Here, you’ll have an endless list of activities to participate in and truly make the most of your time in this paradise. We then travel to Ghanzi in the central Kalahari. The Kalahari was home to the San people and our stay here will present us with the opportunity to learn more about these fascinating people. Our game viewing experience continues in Etosha National Park, the venue for some of the most unique game viewing experiences in Africa. We visit a community of Himba people before arriving in Swakopmund, where you can try your hand at quad-biking, sand-boarding or skydiving. If you’re in the mood to explore, you can take your time and admire the architecture and quaint shops, or take a scenic flight over the coastal town.
