Mattaw Safaris Limited

This is a great experience. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Mara with Mattaw Safaris. They are courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. We were amazed at all of the animals we saw. The driver was able to get us close to elephants, cheetahs, and lions. We even saw a leopard, which can be elusive. The whole time we felt very safe. There wasn't one time that we felt like we were in any danger. We highly recommend Mattaw for your safari experience.

Our Safari tour with Mattaw Safaris Limited was absolutely incredible! We saw the most beautiful scenery, stayed at a world class conservancy, and saw wild life I had always dreamed of. Lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, every animal you can imagine! The food and hospitality was phenomenal. Bud and his team were a pleasure to work with and I am counting down the days until I can return to the Masai Mara!

Outstanding experience! From the bird's eye view of wildebeest herds as we circled the landing strip, to the cultural coaching from our Masia guides, this trip exceeded every expectation. The Mara came alive through the telling of stories, the walking safari and the spontaneous discovery of cheetah families, lion prides and herds of elephants on our drives. Watching the sun go down on the Mara was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I can't recommend this safari, and Bud Huffman, highly enough. I am incredibly grateful for this experience.

I got to check off visiting the Maasai Mara from my bucket-list through Mattaw Safaris. So glad I was able to experience this once in a life-time experience, while staying within my budget. Our driver guide Bud knew of all the right places to go and personalized our trip to what we wanted to see. Throughout the many game drives, we saw cheetahs, lions, leopards, hyenas, elephants, buffalo, hippos, giraffes, zebras, alligators, and other common safari animals. We only missed the rhinos from the big five. We ended our days with buying souvenirs from the locals, eating dinner around the campfire, and settling into our tents. It was nice to have all the accommodations included. Not worrying about transportation to the reserve, setting up a tent, or bringing food for meals made for a stress-free trip. Overall, I highly recommend Mattaw Safaris!
