Summary

This tour is situated at the confluence of the great Zambezi River, the fourth longest but longest east-flowing river on the African continent and the lesser Deka River, in an area which can be regarded as a bird-watching and fishing haven. This area is also home to the razor-toothed Tiger Fish, one of the world's most powerful freshwater fish species, and is one of the main emphasis of this tour, along with the incredibly diverse bird species to be found in the area. This experience, in its embodiment of leisure and relaxation, includes an afternoon spent tiger fishing in the catch and release style, or bird watching, or both. While on this tour, you will be able to spend a night in the captivating and riveting Sundowner Zambezi Lodge, which assures an organic and authentic experience of the space.

Day 1Zambezi Sunset Cruise

On this day, we arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport where you will be met by your local guide and be transferred to your accommodation. Later on, you will be able to enjoy the cruise on the glorious river with the possibility of spotting some wildlife around the river such as pods of hippos, crocodiles basking and maybe a herd or two quenching their thirst. After the cruise is over, we will return to the hotel where a delicious dinner will be served.

Day 2Full Day Chobe National Park excursion

This day starts early in the morning, where we will travel to the Chobe National Park in Botswana, and experience a full day of game drives and boat cruises, as well as engage with and observe the lively Chobe Riverside ecosystem, which is home to the densest concentration of wildlife and game. After this, you shall be transferred to Zimbabwe, and towards a welcoming dinner at the one-of-a-kind Zambezi House located in Victoria Falls, which boasts rich culture, excellent cuisine and an authentic experience.

Day 3Leisure Day - Optional Activities Day

We kick off with an early morning today, to allow for a any optional activities you might be interested in. Later in the day at 12:00pm, lunch will be served at the hotel before we set off for the David Livingstone talk given by Sisa Mthunzie for an hour. After this, at 13:00pm, is time for the Victoria Falls aspect of the Tour. Then at 16:00pm, you will be allowed an opportunity to enjoy the Market for an hour. At the end of this wonderful day, a farewell dinner will be served at The Boma, a restaurant which provides a riveting 'Dinner & Drum' Show, before we return to the hotel to unwind and rest up for the final day and departure.
