Activities Included

You will be picked up from either a hotel or the Entebbe Airport and be briefed about your tour by your driver/guide. After the briefing you will depart for Murchison Falls National Park. The highlights of this park include; the roaring rapids of the Murchison, the rolling plains teaming with lion, giraffe, hartebeest, buffalo, elephant, the large concentration of hippo and crocodile and over 450 bird species including the elusive shoebill stork. Along your drive you will visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you can experience these endangered giants up close. You will stop for lunch in Masindi Town and then continue your drive to the Paraa Safari Lodge where you will check-in, enjoy dinner and your overnight stay. Activities Included

After an early breakfast you will travel to the Northern section of Murchison to enjoy an action packed game drive viewing elephant, buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, kob, lion, and the elusive leopard (if you are lucky). You will also view a variety of bird species. After your morning rive you will return for lunch. After lunch you will embark on a boat cruise to the base of the Murchison Falls. This will be one of the highlights of your safari where you will get up close to the animal within the water. You will cruise past huge hippo pods, crocodile, bathing buffalo, and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty waterfalls. You will have an opportunity to take thousands of pictures, so carry your camera with you if you like. After the cruise you can take a hike to the top of the falls. Activities Included

After breakfast you will be driven through the Ugandan countryside to the Budongo Forest. Here you will embark on an exciting chimpanzee experience. On this trek you should also look out for other primates like the black and white colobus monkey, red tailed monkey, baboon and grey-cheeked mangabey. The trek will also provide you with an amazing bird sighting experience. After your trek you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Dinner and Overnight at Chobe Safari Lodge

After breakfast you will drive to the top of the Murchison Falls. The top of the fall is a magnificent spot where the Nile water compresses into a narrow gorge and falls down through a 7 meter canyon forming a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a plume of water spray. A true wonder of the Nile River! You may also choose to go for a bonus game drive in the park instead. After enjoying the spectacular view of the falls or your morning game drive you will check-out of the lodge and make your way back to Entebbe for your flight home. Note: We do recommend for a late afternoon/evening outbound flight on this day.
