Summary
The Murchison Falls Conservation Area, about 7,000 sq. km in size, the largest in Uganda, consists of Murchison Falls National Park, Karuma Game Reserve and Bugungu Game Reserve among others. Budngo at Kaniyo Pabidi Forest station is also founf within the Area. It is a stunning habitat for wildlife, birds and vegetation. Crocodiles, hippos, elephants and birds including the rare shoebill stork, can be found on the banks of the Nile. With over 1000 chimpanzees in Budongo and Kaniyo Pabidi Forests, Murchison is thought to have the largest chimp numbers in the region. You will also get a chance of visiting the rare Rhinos in Ziwa rhino sanctuary.

Day 3Game drive, Boat cruise in the park

Boat Cruise Morning Drives Wildlife Photography Game drive Bird WatchingAfter an early morning breakfast, we drive down to the ferry and cross the Nile to the northern sector of the park and start our game drive towards the Delta area, in search for wildlife that includes; the Rothschild Giraffe, elephant, Jackson’s Hartbeast, Lions, Warthogs, Kobs, Jackals, Oribis, Waterbucks, Patus monkeys and Leopards among others. Here also a variety of Savannah woodland birds can be seen. We go back to the lodge, relax around, have lunch and later in the afternoon, at 02:00pm go for the boat cruise on the Nile, for game viewing at close quarters as they come to cool off on the shores of the mighty Nile. Here you get a chance of seeing many schools of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of water birds. Overnight: Fort murchson, FB
