Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Our company guide will pick you from agreed point/hotel and transfer you straight to, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s second largest park which is located at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range,adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George. on the way to park, you will have some stop overs at Uganda equator and another one in mbarara for lunch. The park has a prolific game,including, Uganda kob, warthog, water buck. There is also a huge number of hippo and elephant, and keep your eyes open for lions or leopards. Lions are often sighted both in the park and at the entrance to the park. You will reach in the late afternoon to relax at the lodge. later we can visits some of the creator lakes like muyampaka, nyamunuka, not excluding katwe salt mines or we can do evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Tembo safari lodge for budget accommodation. Day 2: Morning game drive and Kazinga Channel boat cruise On this day, after early breakfast, you will go for the morning game drive to search for the early risers. You will search for all the wildlife in the park and definitely you will come across elephant, buffalo, lion, waterbuck, leopard, Uganda kob, warthogs and many more. In the afternoon, having done with your lunch, you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel which joins Lake George and Lake Edward. Here, you will see a lot of hippos, more than you can possibly imagine, as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You can expect to see buffalo, crocodile, bathing elephant, and a range of beautiful birds. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your tour. After the boat-safari, you will have a game drive en route to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Tembo safari lodge for budget accommodation. Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking, Kitagata Hot Springs visit and transfer back to Kampala. Enjoy breakfast and go for chimpanzee tracking in karinju forest. There are six different Species of Primates found in Kalinzu Forest Reserve including the Blue Monkeys, Vervet Monkeys, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, and Chimpanzees. There are over 220 Chimpanzees, 70 plus chimpanzees have been habituated can be tracked here at Kalinzu Forest Reserve. later proceed to Kitagata Hot Springs; the hot spring with magical healing water as it is believed, is found in western part of Uganda in a place called Kitagata after Ishaka town. The hot spring occurs as a result of volcanicity; water is heated in the earth’s bowels and comes out from the earth’s crust to form the hot spring. you will later drive back to kampala after your delicious lunch. drop off will be at your hotel or residence in kampala.
