Day-by-day Description
Day 1 TRANSFER FROM KAMPALA TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Animal Tracking Bird Photography Boat Cruise General Photography Hiking Game drive Bird Watching Photo-safariToday, you will be met at a previously decided upon location at 7.00 in the morning for a briefing, before we begin the 6 to 8 hour long journey to the park, which includes stops at some very interesting spots. We will enjoy a hearty and delicious lunch along the way, as well as cross at Nile at the Karuma Falls and spot some amazing animals, such as elephants, baboons and numerous antelopes, if we are lucky enough. Then we will have lunch and head out an a relaxing boat cruise afterwards, which will take us to the bottom of the falls, and allow us to view some of the wild animals that come to drink water and cool off. Some of these being schools of hippo, crocodiles, birds and monitor lizards.

Day 2MORNING IN MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Animal Tracking Bird Photography Boat Cruise General Photography Hiking Game drive Bird Watching Photo-safariToday kicks off early again at 7.00 in the morning, where we embark on an early morning game drive in one of the best game tracks, with hopes of seeing some of the famous Big Five as well as some lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, small antelopes like Olibi, impalas and primates like the baboons and monkeys. After this, we hike to the top of the Murchison Falls to view the spectacular way the Nile cascades down, creating a thunderous roar. This offers a breathtaking view and provides a good spot for some truly memorable photos. Later in the early evening, we then begin our return drive back to Kampala. A Visa to Uganda can be obtained upon arrival in the country at the point of entry, which costs US$50 per person. However a single East African Tourist Visa for Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda is also available at a rate of US$100. A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is commonly required for entry into the country, furthermore, if you have any other records of vaccinations, it would be best to bring those along as well. All visitors should take Malaria medication beforehand and afterwards as a preventive measure. It is advisable to drink bottled water rather than tap water, and to seek information from your National Health Office or certain travel websites for the latest Ugandan travel health requirements or information.
