We start our day today, by leaving and heading towards the equator, which runs through Uganda. Uganda is one of the few nations around the world where the equator runs through it and is the best place to visit and explore the Equator. There is a surprise in store here, as you witness the intriguing water experiment and see how forces react at 0 degrees, towards the north pole and south pole (we do not want to say too much, lest we ruin the surprise). Another reason that makes the equator a worthwhile stop is the opportunity for great shopping bargains and a chance to pick up a unique souvenir, as the point has several craft shops and art galleries, run by individuals and organizations alike.
