Upon arrival at Kigoma Airport, you’ll meet and greet our friendly Tanzanian representative, who will pick you up and transfer by car/minibus to the port a heading to Gombe National Park by boat along with quite waves of the second deepest lake in the World, Lake Tanganyika. The journey along the lake is scenic if you consider that the Rift Valley Escarpment is on your right-hand side. Upon arrival in the park, proceed for check-in procedures and short introduction about the park. After a short rest, you will be taken to enjoy your spot fishing and kayaking. During the evening you will have a privilege to enjoy the beautiful traditional dances from the natives accompanied by the barbeque- bonfire to welcome you to the land of hospitality.

Afterwards having breakfast, together with your Safari guide and our representative you'll proceed on a lifetime adventure towards Gombe forest. If you are lucky enough, you might see them around your residing compounds. Your walk in the forest will give you the privilege to see red-tailed chimps, blue-tailed chimps, monkeys, baboons, bushbucks, warthogs and forest birds. This trip will be accompanied by a trip to Kalambo Waterfall, the 25 meters long waterfall trip that will familiarize you with the trees and vegetation of the forest. After having lunch in afternoon you will be taken by boat to Kigoma port ready for the trip to the old City of Ujiji; the historical site famous for slave trade activities. You will have an overnight stay in Kigoma town for your flight preparation that will be taking place tomorrow.

Caravanning Township tourYou will have the chance to freshen up and relax at the hotel in the morning. Depending on your flight schedule and departure point you will be transferred to Kigoma Airport to take a flight back. If you are flying out of Mwalimu Nyerere International Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, we will arrange a connection flight for you to catch your flight back home.
