Day-by-day Description
Day 1Meet and Greet + Night Drive
Activities Included
Camping Night drive Wildlife Photography CultureFelsch will pick you up from the airport in Johannesburg - or anywhere else in Johannesburg or in the Kruger region - and take you to the Kruger. We will enter the Kruger through Malelane gate in the south. We will then proceed to set up our camp at Berg en Dal campsite in the South We will do a safari on our way to the camp. Tonight you will join a night drive together with professional Kruger rangers. The rangers are trained in anti-poaching efforts and you will get to accompany them doing their job, which is protecting the wildlife from the humans who threaten it. Most Kruger rangers come from local cultures. They often earned their prestigious job through years of university level study. They are true experts of the bushveld. This experience is shared with other participants who are staying at your campsite. Only guests staying inside the park can access the Kruger at night. Doing a night drive from Berg en Dal is particularly fascinating as there is an impressive density of night-active mammals in this area of the Kruger. Look out for Serval Cats, Hyenas, Lions, Rhino, Leopard and more.

Help Felsch with the resurrection of your glamping tents and cook together tonight.
