Summary
Enjoy 4 days of safari with us in our open safari vehicles for the ultimate safari feel. With a dedicated team & passionate team, you will leave this safari absolutely fulfilled. We will also head off into the Drakensberg Mountains to explore the wonders of the Panorama Route from the escarpment. Accommodation will be based in Hazyview -merely a 10/15 minute drive from Phabeni Gate. This package includes return airport transfers, bed & breakfast, dinner transfers and all conservation fees.

Day 1Transfer to Dreamfields Guest House & KNP Afternoon Safari

Animal Tracking Bird Photography General Photography Landscape photography Wildlife Photography Game drive Bird Watching Photo-safariOn arrival in Hazyview with the minibus shuttle service, you will be collected by an Elephant Herd Tours & Safaris guide and transported to your accommodation at Dreamfields Guest House (Subject to availability). After enjoying a welcome drink in the beautiful & bird-rich gardens of the guesthouse, you will have about 2 hours to unpack and relax before your guide collects you for your first safari. You will be accompanied by your dedicated field guide for your safaris in the Kruger National Park. On this relaxed afternoon safari, you will get a sneak preview of what you can expect your other two safaris with a focus on the plains game such as zebra, giraffe and various antelope, although the park is always full of surprises and there may be one for you just around the corner. You will return to the guesthouse early evening after your safari and a dinner transfer to one of the various restaurants in the area will be arranged at a time suitable to you.

Animal Tracking Bird Photography General Photography Landscape photography Scenic Drive Wildlife Photography Game drive Bird Watching Photo-safariYour safari to the Kruger National Park will start before sunrise in one of our open safari vehicle which gives you the opportunity to view animals from a higher vantage point and a perfect panoramic view. Your guide will use his professional expert knowledge to help you search for and find the iconic animals in the park as well as interpreting the natural environment. You will stop at various lookout points, waterholes and rivers during your safari to increase your chances of seeing as many of the fauna & flora that the park has to offer as well as breathtaking scenery of the different areas of the park. The guest house will provide you with individually packed breakfast packs which you will be able to enjoy at a rest camp or a picnic spot along the planned route for that day, there will also be a lunch stop should you wish to purchase a lunch snack or simply stretch your legs. You will return to your guest late afternoon after your safari, just in time for a sundowner drink on the terrace or by the pool. Your dinner transfer to one of the various restaurants in the area will be arranged at a time suitable to you.

Bird Photography General Photography Hiking Landscape photography Scenic Drive Bird WatchingAfter a leisurely breakfast at your guest house, we head out to explore the beauty and splendour of the majestic northern point of the Drakensberg Mountain ranges escarpment, unveiling the endless views of the Lowveld from Gods Window, become absorbed by the sheer cutting power of the water as it carves away at Bourkes Luck Potholes before we head off to see the wonders of the Blyde River Canyon – the largest green canyon in the world. Time permitting, after lunch in the quiet town of Graskop we will stop off at a few of the waterfalls on route whilst making our way back to the guest house for a welcome swim and a cold beverage at your own leisure.

Day 4KNP Morning Safari & Transfer Back To OR Tambo

There will be breakfast packs provided by your guest house for you to enjoy at one of the picnic spots or rest camps, you will take your luggage along with you on your drive in order to maximize our time in the park. After leaving the park at around 11h00, you will be transferred to the shuttle pick up point where you will depart to your next destination.
