Day-by-day Description
Day 1Game drive or boat cruise
Join us on a game drive or boat cruise: An open landcruiser comfortably seating 10 people is used for these events. The morning game drive departs between 6am and 7am seasonally. The afternoon game drive departs between 3pm and 4pm. The drives are 3hrs of fantastic bush experience where our rangers enlighten you on all aspects of nature. Game drives take place on the Phongolo Nature Reserve, the neighboring National Reserve, which is the first Reserve to be proclaimed in Africa by Paul Kruger in 1894. The Reserve has an excellent population of wild life from white rhino, wildebeest, zebra, warthog, giraffe to a wide variety of antelope. Summer 6 am or 4pm departures. Winter 8am or 3pm. BOAT CRUISE: A must when visiting Lake Jozini to experience the wonderful birdlife and wildlife on the water’s edge. The 3 hour excursion on the canopied 12 seater viewing boat. Summer 6am and 4pm departures. Winter 8am departures.
