Day 1KwaZulu Natal Midlands and Nambiti Private Game Reserve

Animal Tracking Bird Photography Evening Drives General Photography Morning Drives Night drive Wildlife Photography Game drive Bird Watching CultureToday begins with a drive from Durban to the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, which is located in a malaria free zone and is the only reserve in the area with the renowned Big 5, as well as over 40 other species of game including cheetah, giraffe, hippo, hyena, impala, eland and zebra. Then there is a scheduled stop-over in the Natal Midlands, at the historical Mandela Capture Site, a lovely local coffee stop called Steampunk Coffee and a gorgeous popular art gallery. At different points in the day, we will also be able to head out on an exciting game drive in the morning and evening. And at the end of the day, we will retire and rest up at the Ndaka Safari Lodge, in a luxury Safari Tent.

Then later in the afternoon, we will then head into the Natal Midlands for another delicious meal. Our movements for the day will be to skirt around the famous scenic Drakensberg Mountains as we then enter Lesotho via the Sani Pass. Then the overnight stay will be at the rustic and charming Sani Mountain Lodge in the Mkhomazi Wilderness area.

Day 3Exploration of Sani Top Area

Bird Photography Hiking Horse riding Landscape photography Scenic Drive Bird Watching CultureThis is the last day of the tour. We begin with either a hike or a Pony Trek in the Sani Top area, depending on your preference and the time available. Once that is done, we then visit a local Basotho village for an enriching cultural experience. Then lunch will be enjoyed at the rustic and charming Sani Mountain Lodge, in the highest pub in Africa! At the end of the day, we shall return to Durban, as the tour comes to a close.
