This short tour is a great add-on to experience the "safari" side of South Africa. Ivory Tree Game Lodge is situated within the Pilanesberg Game Reserve which is only 3 hours away from JHB, one of the largest volcanic complexes of its kind in the world. The early presence of man can be seen in the numerous Stone and Iron Age sites that are scattered throughout the park. This is a Malaria Free area! This trip can be customised with more or less days as requested by you.

Day 1Departure from Hotel in JHB or Airport to Ivory Tree lodge in Pilanesberg National Park
Activities Included
Evening Drives Night drive Scenic Drive Self-drive Wildlife Photography Game drive Bird WatchingOn this day your Mr Shuttle guide/driver will pick you up at the Airport or your Hotel in JHB and start your journey to Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Depending on traffic it is about 3 hour drive to the Lodge. Upon arrival at the lodge, your Mr Shuttle guide/driver will assist you with your check-in at the lodge. Lunch can be arranged upon arrival. Once you've checked in, you will be taken to your room where you will be able to settle in before your first afternoon game drive. You will head off to your first game drive later the afternoon, and after the game drive that is 2-3 hours in duration, you will enjoy a lovely dinner back at the lodge. Dining at the Ivory Tree Game Lodge is an experience at boma that provides a unique, outdoor dining venue where you can enjoy dinners under a starlit, African sky in a magnificent bush-veld setting. Extra activities can be booked at reception, these include; - Evening/Morning Game Drives - Archery - Air Gun - Interactive Drumming

Your day will start with a Morning Game drive. A lovely experience as more animals are seen out during the early hours of the morning. After your game drive, you will head back to the lodge where you will enjoy a refreshing breakfast. You will have a large portion of the day for leisure time. You can take this time to enjoy some extra activities such as Archery, Airgun, Game Drives or Interactive Drumming. Later that afternoon you will enjoy your last evening/night game drive. Dinner will be served back at the lodge again. You can then settle in and relax for the rest of the evening.

Morning Drives Bird WatchingSadly your tour has come to an end, but first you will head off to a last early morning Game drive. After the game drive you will enjoy Breakfast back at the lodge. Your Mr Shuttle driver/guide will meet you at the lodge reception to assist you with check-out. After check-out you will be taken back to your hotel in JHB or OR Tambo International Airport. One pit-stop can be made on the way back should you wish to stretch your legs a bit.
