The Mara’s landscape is scenic savanna grassland on rolling hills, which enables the reserve to attract sufficient rainfall to maintain and support a large population of herbivores, together with the predators that follow. Elephant, lion, buffalo can be seen with relative ease though luck is a necessary factor for spotting rhino and leopard that complete the big five as the two animals are very timid and sparsely numbered. We will cater for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool. In the evening, we will return to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Mara Sidai Camp or Similar

The Masai Mara is famous for its black manned lions, elephants, and buffalo that make three out of the big five though luck is essential for spotting the other two namely rhino and leopard. The park animal concentration is second to none and numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra, and Masai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vultures. We'll have a picnic lunch at the hippo pool where you can spot crocodiles and hippos basking on the rocks. We will then return to the lodge or campsite in time for dinner and overnight stay.

This is where the annual migration of close to 800,000 zebras and wildebeest occurs between the two parks. We will return to the lodge or campsite for lunch. In the afternoon there is a choice between a game drive and a nature walk escorted by our armed Masai guides or a visit to a local Masai village to see their nomadic lifestyle at an extra cost. Your dinner will be served at the campsite.

We'll depart for Nairobi arriving in time for lunch, where you will be taken to a place of your choice before getting on your homebound flight.

Manual application for a visa on arrival in Kenya: On arrival at the airport in Kenya, you will need to complete an application form and pay a fee of USD 50. The process is relatively smooth and fast. It’s handy to carry your own pen! In the field where you are requested to state your Kenyan address, please enter the name of the hotel/lodge where you are proceeding to spend your first night. Electronic visa application for Kenya: Please use the website www.evisa.go.ke to apply for an electronic eVisa. You may pay by credit card. The visa processing fee is USD 50, and there is a service charge of USD 1. The minimum period you can apply for a Kenyan visa is three months before your travel date. The visa application process involves uploading your passport picture along with your passport photograph. Your visa shall be issued approximately five days after you register. You shall be required to print a copy of your electronic visa, bring it with you for presentation along with your passport on arrival in Kenya.
