Day 1Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

Animal Tracking Camping Morning Drives Game driveMain Destination Masai Mara National Reserve Best Time to Visit June to October and September to October High Season June to October and December to March Best Weather June to October (Sunny, but not too hot) Accommodation Mara Sidai Camp Budget tented camp located just outside Masai Mara NR The tour driver / guide meets you at your preferred hotel in Nairobi City between 6.30am and 7.30am and thereafter you depart to join the rest of the group members for departure to Masai Mara. Being a long drive you may opt to stop at the Breath-taking Great Rift Valley view point for a view of the escarpment and a photo session. Proceed on the tour via Narok Town, arriving at the camp for check in and late lunch. After lunch you will enter the park for a game drive from 4.00pm till 6.00pm. Masai Mara is famously known for the big five animals and also the migration of wildebeest (July & October). Animals that are easily spotted include elephant, buffalo, lion, gazelle, giraffe, and many others. After the game drive, you will be transferred back to your camp for dinner and rest.

Day 2Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day Game Drives

Animal Tracking Camping Morning Drives Game driveMain Destination Masai Mara National Reserve Accommodation Mara Sidai Camp Budget tented camp located just outside Masai Mara NR Early breakfast at 6.30am then depart from the camp with picnic lunch then spend the day within the Mara Reserve looking for animals and taking photographs. You will visit the Mara River to get an opportunity to see large crocodiles which wait for the animals at the river drinking points (during migration season, spend some time at the banks of Mara River for a chance to see the wildebeest crossing). If lucky you will see all of the big cats of the Mara along the rivers because this is where they wait for prey when animals come to drink water. You will also see large pods of hippo at the hippo pool during your picnic lunch. In the evening at 5.00pm, you will transfer back to accommodation for rest as you wait for dinner to be served.

Day 4Day 4: Masai Mara – Nairobi

After the morning game drive, you will exit from the park and drive back to Nairobi with lunch stop en route at Narok Town. You will arrive in Nairobi in the evening at around 5.00pm or 6.00pm and be transferred back to your preferred hotel in the city. Alternatively, you can also be transferred back to Jomo Kenyatta Airport to connect with your next flight.
