This tour takes you to Kenya’s renowned Samburu National Reserve where you can stay at Samburu Sentrim Lodge, Samburu umoja camp, Samburu safaris, Kenya. Day 01: Nairobi - Samburu Game Reserve Distance: 360 km (5 hrs, 30 min.) Drive north through cultivations of sisal and pineapple to the northern frontier district and on to one on the largest open air market in east and central Africa Karatina town. After a short stop proceed to Nanyuki town past the Equator on Samburu National Reserve. Have lunch enroute arriving Samburu early evening. Enjoy evening game, drive in this reserve famous for its exclusive game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Umoja camp, L, D. Day 02: Samburu Game Reserve Full day of game viewing drives in this dry semi-arid park with its striking background view of the Mathew's Range. The gently flowing Uaso Nyiro river which traverses this Park provides evergreen vegetation for the rare gerenuk, Grevy zebra and reticulated giraffe found in this park. All meals and overnight at camp, B, L, D. Day 03: Samburu Game Reserve - Nairobi Distance: 360 km (5 hrs, 30 min.). After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi, with a stop -over at Nanyuki Bantu Lodge to experience optional activities like, boat ride, Horse riding, Nature walk, MAU MAU Caves, after lunch drive back to Nairobi arriving before the sun down 1700hrs- 1800hrs drop back home.
