Summary

he day trip to Moremi is the quickest way to catch what the reserve has to offer when you do not have enough time to spend the night. Departing from Maun at the crack of dawn on-board a safari vehicle, we will head out to access the renowned Moremi Game Reserve for some great game viewing. On arrival at the reserve gate we will setup a light breakfast of tea and rusks while the guide takes care of the park fees formalities. On completion we will then set off on our journey of exploring the splendid Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi is home to one of the world’s great wildlife species making the area spectacular for game viewing and bird watching, including all major naturally occurring herbivore and carnivore species in the region, and over 400 species of birds, many migratory and some endangered. We will break off for a light lunch and make some rounds in search of some animals, passing through lagoons and pools along the river channels as well as flat plains. We will then make our way back late afternoon as we reflect on our sightings.
