Day 2Serengeti National Park

Game driveIn the morning after an early morning breakfast the tour start with a drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we continue to drive north, we'll have a game drive en route to Serengeti. There's a lot to observe: More than 1.5 million wildebeest and 700’000 zebras are on their way here when we pass by at the time of the famous annual migration. The migration can be found during any given month; you just need to know where to look! The question should really be about the best places' to see them during a given time of the year – and when visiting them is most enjoyable.

Day 3Serengeti - Migration

Game driveFull day game viewing at Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti, Tanzania second largest Park, covers nearly 6,000 square miles of grassland plains, Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and Riverine forests. The Grumeti, Mbalageti, and Mara river systems serve as critical water sources and are often excellent sites for wildlife viewing. Beyond the heralded migration of wildebeest and zebra, the Serengeti is best known for its big predators, including cheetah and Leopard, as well as large prides of Lions and clans of Hyenas. Other commonly seen animals include gazelle, Buffalo, giraffe, Topi, Hartebeest, Ostrich and Jackal, but it is the full diversity of wildlife and habitats that you will truly find amazing. The greater Serengeti ecosystem actually covers the Ngorongoro the Masai Mara in Kenya, and numerous surrounding wildlife-protected lands that combine for a total of almost 17,000 square miles, which is larger than the states of Massachusetts. Day 4Serengeti National Park

Game driveWe do an after breakfast game viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible Lion, Thomson gazelle, Topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The Visitor Centre close to the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites is well worth a visit after the morning's game drive. This nicely designed center offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The center also has a shop where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased, as well as a picnic area and information trail up and around a nearby kopje. We will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the center in the shade of the giant acacia trees. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 5Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Game driveA morning game drive at Serengeti. For animals, that's an active time of the day - not hot yet, so there is a lot to see out there until by 11:30am then we return back to the Camp for brunch. On our way back we will stop and explore the local Masai communities and learn more about their impressive culture which for years and years they have long well preserved. Your guide will take you around and explain to you the fascinating lifestyle of these people. You may be entertained by their traditional dances. The Masai people are well known as pastoralisms that graze herds of cattle, goats, donkeys plus sheep. These people were known for moving very long distances with their livestock as they searched for fresh pastures and water. However, as the years went by they have started living in permanent settlements and their diet is complimented milk, blood, grain and meat. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite inside Conservation Area.

Day 6Ngorongoro Crater Tour - Return Back to Moshi

Game driveOur last day we starts very early in the morning equipped with a picnic lunch we descend 600m down to the Crater floor by our 4x4 wheel drive vehicle for game viewing. Let's explore this Garden of Eden. Ngorongoro is a huge and deep volcanic Crater. There's rich pasture, swamps, forest and permanent water on the Crater floor that's why wildlife here is so diverse and numerous. There are up to 25.000 larger animals living here. It'd the best opportunity to see Black Rhino and many other rare species like the black-manned lion. We will have a fantastic day and you will see wildlife at its best. Late afternoon we drive back to Moshi and you will be dropped at the hotel.
