Summary
Taking in the very best of Tanzania’s Northern Circuit, our five day Tanzania Camping Safari tour visits both Serengeti National park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A short tour, but the driver-guide in your private vehicle will ensure that you are informed and entertained as you witness some of the best of the planet’s wildlife in its natural environment. Accommodation is in public campsites, sharing bathroom facilities with fellow traveller camps. A truly memorable adventure. Styles – Budget Camping Safari: Travelers will be sleeping on public campsites; bathroom facilities are shared with fellow travelers at the camp. Travelers travel together in our own vehicle, with our own driver-guide and a chef who prepares all food.

Day 1KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO ARUSHA

Township tourAccommodation: Iliboru Safari Lodge(B&B) Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our experienced driver guides, ready to greet and escort you to Arusha and your chosen hotel.
Day 2ARUSHA TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Camping Wildlife Photography Game drive Bird WatchingAccommodation: Seronera Campsite After breakfast, we collect our lunch boxes and set off on the long journey to the Serengeti. On the way, the sheer vastness of Africa's open plains unfolds before you. In the afternoon, we reach Serengeti, Lunch at the camp. Spend the afternoon game viewing in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herd of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Return to your public camp for dinner and overnight.(B, L, D)
Day 3SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

You might witness the great migration with hundred thousands of wildebeests, zebras and Thompson gazelles, depending on the time of year. Your driver-guide may find you lion, leopard, elephant,zebra, cheetah and antelope on today's safari... just some of the many species here. After the game drive, you will return to your camp for some welcome rest and your evening meal (B, L, D).
Day 4SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO

Bird Photography Camping Game drive Bird Watching CultureAccommodation: Simba Campsite The exciting sounds of Africa will rouse you from your sleep. We make the most of the day with a 08:00 start, heading off on our morning game-drive. Later, we will travel to Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge, site of Louis and Mary Leakey's renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man's earliest known ancestral remain. Picnic lunches will be served at the Gorge. Proceed driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight at Simba campsite (B, L, D).
Day 5NGORONGORO CRATER TO AIRPORT

Bird Photography Wildlife Photography Game drive Bird WatchingToday may be 'departure day', but there will be plenty of time to enjoy another true spectacle, before your thoughts turn to home. Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as a wonder of the world and your early morning game drive shows you why. First, there's the volcanic caldera (the world's largest), full of grassland, forest and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty. Secondly, the permanent water of the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals. Here you'll find many of the reasons you chose to come on safari: elephant, lion, leopard, hippo, baboons... even the rare black rhino finds shelter here. After your morning game drive, we have our picnic lunch in the crater before we return to the airport for your flight home.(B & L)

HEALTH Visitors originating from or transiting through countries endemic with yellow fever need to have valid vaccination certificates. Visitors arriving directly into Tanzania from say. Europe, the USA, Japan and other non-yellow fever areas are not required to produce vaccination certificates to gain entry. Visitors are advised to take anti-malaria tablets and make use of mosquito nets and insect sprays where provided. Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is recommended before travel.
