Day 1Drive to Thakadu River Camp within Madikwe Reserve

Game Walk General Photography Night drive Scenic Drive Self-drive Wildlife Photography Game drive Photo-safariOn this day Your Mr Shuttle Guide/Driver will pick you up at your hotel in JHB or the Airport and drive you to Madikwe Game Reserve where Thakadu River Camp is situated. Upon arrival at the Lodge, you will be assisted with check-in. You will then have some time to settle in and find your way around the lodge. Later that afternoon you will be going on a afternoon game drive with your game ranger. After the game drive you will head back to the lodge and enjoy dinner. You can book extra game drives and bird watching at reception. This tour can be customised with more days as requested.

Day 2Full Day at Thakadu River Camp

Depending on the time of year, morning game drives depart at different times. Expect to see everything from elephant and rhino to lion and giraffe during morning game drives. Leopards are a bit more difficult to spot but should you wish to find this well hidden creature, evening game drives are your best bet. After the game drive you will be taken back to the lodge to enjoy a refreshing breakfast. After breakfast you will have some leisure time, where you will be able to relax at the lodge. Later that afternoon you go on an afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, an entirely new game viewing experience presents itself. Evening game drives offer a host of wildlife; hyena, lion, jackals, leopard, birds of prey and various other animals. Dinner will be served back at the lodge and you will then settle in for the night.

You will head back to the lodge and have breakfast and after breakfast you will have a little bit of time to get your things ready. Your Mr Shuttle Driver/Guide will meet you back at reception and assist you with checking out. On the way back one pit-stop will be made. You will be dropped off back at your Hotel or at the Airport.
