Day 1MOMBASA - TSAVO WEST
Activities Included
Animal Tracking Scenic Drive Wildlife Photography Game driveWe will pick you up at your hotel in the early morning. You drive through Mombasa and pass Mariakani, Taita Hills and the huge Sisal fields of Voi until you reach the Tsavo West National Park. Shortly before the entrance you stop at a roadhouse. Especially for Europeans the park is exceptionally beautiful and offers good hiding places for the animals. During your drive at the Tsavo River and along the Rhino Sanctuary, passing the Ngulia hills and Mzima Springs until you reach Kitani you may discover the whole animal kingdom of Tsavo West. Your game drives lasts until lunch, afterwards you check-in and spend some time at your camp. In the afternoon you enjoy your next game drive. You drive to Mzima Springs where about 20 million liters of water just spring through the earth per hour. Here you will see crocodiles and hippos. Afterwards you look for animals until the sun sets. In the evening you get a first look at Mt. Kilimanjaro in front of the beautiful African sky. You drive back to the camp, enjoy your dinner and have time to relax and spend the remains of the day. Day 2TSAVO WEST - AMBOSELI

Animal Tracking Scenic Drive Wildlife Photography Game driveIn the early morning you start to an exciting game drive and return to the camp for breakfast. Afterwards you check out and drive about 94 km to Amboseli. The route passes Chyulu Hills and through Masai land. With a little bit of luck you can watch Mt. Kilimanjaro come nearer and nearer. If you wish to you may stop at the Sheitanis Lave, a lava field of about 200 - 300 sq. km with only black lava stones without any animals or plants. After you have passed the gate you drive into Amboseli National Park. You won't believe your own eyes when you watch the huge animal herds appearing out of the dust. This is the only place to see elephant herds with over 100 animals. Enjoy the country at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro and feel the magic of this Holy Mountain the Masai call the "House of God". Your game drive lasts till lunch when you check in at your next camp. After a rest you start on an evening game drive until the sun sets. During this game drive you will learn a lot about the 81 different mammal species of Amboseli. Normally you may see Mt. Kilimanjaro in all its magnificence during the late afternoon. Day 3AMBOSELI - TSAVO EAST

Animal Tracking Scenic Drive Wildlife Photography Game driveYour day again starts with an interesting early morning game drive. After breakfast you drive to Tsavo East National Park. Here you enjoy an extensive game drive through the Taru Desert towards Aruba Dam. Tsavo East National Park offers 12300 sq. km. and is separated from Tsavo West by a street and the railway link Mombasa-Nairobi. It is world-famous for its read elephants which can often be seen in this part. The word Tsavo means "an unfertile place", it is dry at the Taru Desert and wet at the Galana River After a short drive through Tsavo East National Park you will see the first animals. Until lunch you enjoy an exciting game drive and afterwards check in at your camp. After lunch you have time at your own disposal. Overnight at: Ashnil Aruba Lodge

Day 4TSAVO EAST - MOMBASA

Animal Tracking Scenic Drive Wildlife Photography Game driveAt sunrise you start on your early morning game drive. The more early you start the more likely you are to watch the wildcats during their hunt. You return to your lodge and a copious breakfast. You check out afterwards and go on a last game drive through Tsavo East National Park. You leave the park around noon and have lunch at Voi. Then you are brought back to the coast where you reach your hotel in the afternoon.
