Summary
Day 1: ADDIS ABABA:
Arrival in Addis Ababa and City tour of Addis Ababa (capital Hotel)
Day 2: MEKELE - HAMED ELA
Early in the morning fly to Mekele - drive directly to Hamed ela via the small town of Berhale. (camping)
DAY 3: DALLOL
Drive to the Dallol depression. (Camping)
DAY 4: ERT- ALE: THE LIVING VOLCANO Early in the morning drive to Ertale to enjoy the live Volcano with an amazing noise the whole night.
Overnight will be on top of mount Ert – ale (camping) DAY 5: ERTALE – MEKELE
Early the next morning, we descend Mount Ertale, returning to the base camp for a well-earned breakfast. We return to our vehicles and carry on to Mekele via the small towns of Habala and Erepti. (Planet Hotel)
DAY 6: FLY AXUM- LALIBELA
Transfer and visit the first group of churches. (Maribela Hotel)
Day 7 Lalibela and visit churches (Maribela Hotel)
Day 8 Fly to Addis, lunch and depart
