Summary
This is a typical wildlife adventure safari suitable for people hungry for wildlife adventure but they have limited time and/or budget. It touches 2 most important wildlife parks in the Northern circuit of wildlife in Tanzania and give the client fair satisfaction on the wildlife experience. This short time can well be spent with 2 nights in Serengeti. Serengeti is so rich in wildlife such that spending less than 2 nights is quite unfair. A night in Arusha before and/or after the safari can be added on client’s request.

Day 1Arusha - Serengeti National Park
Activities Included
Wildlife Photography Game drive Photo-safariAfter breakfast, pick up from a hotel in Arusha, drive straight to Serengeti via Ngorongoro conservation area with game en route. This is about 8-hrs drive. Here you will be spending the rest of the day game driving around the Seronera area of the Serengeti. After a tiresome long hour’s drive and some game viewing, you will then be transferred to a lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp

Day 2In Serengeti National Park

Wildlife Photography Game drive Photo-safariThe whole day is devoted for a spectacular game drive in the Serengeti National park, having the chance to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti plains. Floating silently above the bush while spotting wildlife and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Africa. (Balloon is Optional for an extra cost). The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel. In the afternoon we we drive back to the lodge and enjoy hot lunch in the lodge followed by a short siesta. After lunch we can an afternoon sunset game drive before going back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 3Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Game drive Culture Photo-safariThis morning you may opt to be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti Plains (optional). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous small villages. After breakfast at the lodge with our picnic lunch, we depart to continue the game drive in the plains of Serengeti making the maximum of our time by enjoying the endless Serengeti plains adventures with abundant of animal activities found nowhere in Africa. We later head to Ngorongoro Conservation area with game en-route We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, (optional) boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. We arrive in Ngorongoro/Karatu in the late afternoon, check in the lodge for an overnight. Accommodation: Farm of Dreams Lodge

Day 4Crater Tour, to Arusha for drop off

Game drive Photo-safariAfter breakfast, we decent 600m into this magnificent crater for a morning half day game drive. Ngorongoro crater is home to an estimated 30,000 wild animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black Rhinos. The crater has a dense population of predators like the Lion, Cheetah and the elusive Leopard. The elevated structure encourages the animals to refrain from migrating in and out of the crater which means there is a high possibility of spotting every member of ‘The Big 5’. After enjoying our picnic lunch we will proceed with game drive while we make ascend out of the crater and drive to Arusha town for an overnight relaxation before departure on the following day.
