Day-by-day Description
Day 1NAIROBI – LAKE NAIVASHA.
Pick up from Hotel/designation area as you depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Lake Victoria via the scenic Great Rift Valley, a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point to view the floor of the Rift Valley from the escarpment, arriving in time for lunch later take a visit to Lake Naivasha, This is the largest freshwater lake along the Kenyan section of the Rift valley because it is the nearest lake to Nairobi it attracts many residents as well as tourists. Fishing here is good but its main attraction is the bird life, Take a visit to Hell’s Gate National Park which lies to the south of Lake Naivasha in Kenya; the landscape is impressive and can be explored on foot. The entrance to the gorge is marked by Fischer's Tower, a 25mtr tall volcanic pinnacle. The Park which is mainly comprised of savannah ecosystem habours a wide variety of wildlife. Some of the frequently observed animal species include lions, leopards, and cheetahs. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, augur buzzard, and swifts. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle. Day 2LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast, Depart to Lake Nakuru National park, check in at your hotel, have lunch later proceed for an afternoon game drive, This park is popularly regarded as the "Bird Watchers Paradise”. The park is famous for its high population of greater and lesser flamingoes and it was first gazzetted in 1960 as a bird’s sanctuary, before it was upgraded to a full National park in 1968. Apart from great numbers of birds the Park is also home to plain game animals and also with luck one can set eye on the rare White rhinoceros, or the Rothschild giraffe. Still, lucky enough you may come out of the park triumphant having spotted the 'BIG FIVE’ Dinner and overnight at the lodge: Fullboard
Day 3DEPARTURE.
After morning Breakfast, checkout from your hotel later depart to Nairobi and dropped at the airport for your flight back home.
