Offical Visa Regulations and Health Requirements
For personalized details on health and visa requirements please check the IATA travel centre here
https://www.iatatravelcentre.comTANZANIAN TOURIST VISA A Tanzanian tourist visa is required. If you have not opted for Hazina Afrika’s expedited visa service, you may obtain your Tanzania visa in advance from your nearest Tanzania Consulate or Embassy or alternatively, it can be obtained upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. The current cost of a Tanzania Visa is $50 US (with the exception of US citizens - $100 US; Irish citizens - $100 US and Pakistani citizens - $200US). Please be sure to bring the appropriate amount of cash in U.S. dollars to pay for your visas. Paper currency must be dated no earlier than 2006 and the bill must be in good condition with no tears or writing. Older currency may not be accepted. If you have expedited visa service from Hazina Afrika at Kilimanjaro International Airport, then the cost of your visa is pre-paid with your safari. MEDICATIONS AND PRESCRIPTIONS If you have any medical condition that requires special care or medications, please inform us so we can alert the guides looking after you on safari. Be sure to bring enough of any prescription medications that you are currently taking. When you pack, make certain that you have all your medications in your carry-on luggage. Never pack any of your medications in your checked luggage in case your luggage gets lost. It is also a good idea to carry a written copy of the prescriptions for any medication you may need, given in its chemical name rather than a brand name. If you have any special condition or allergy that might require attention overseas, have your physician write a letter describing the nature of the condition and the treatment. Carry the letter with you. If you should happen to need medical care away from home, the temporary physician will be able to treat you more effectively.
