Day 1Journey to the Maasai Mara
Activities Included
Scenic Drive Game drive CultureAfter an early pick up from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi, we will make our way into the Maasai Mara. We will be stopping once at the Rift Valley View Point to enjoy a stunning view over the plains of Kenya. You will then continue on your way arriving in camp where you can freshen up, sit back and relax and have lunch. In the afternoon you will head out for an evening game drive where you will start searching for the awesome animals so famous in the Mara. If you are lucky you may see lion and cheetah hunting for their dinner. After sunset you will return to camp, enjoy a yummy dinner and then sit around the campfire before turning in for the night. We sleep in Enchoro Camp (inquiry with us for availability).

Day 2Full Day Game Drive
Activities Included
Game drive CultureAfter a very early breakfast you will head to the park gate right at the opening hours. This is the best time to track wild animals hunting for their morning meal. You will make your way up to the Mara River where, during the months of July through September, the great annual migration of wildebeest and zebra takes place. Here you will have lunch before you continue your game drive through the Mara in search for the “Big 5”. In the late afternoon we return to our camp and relax before enjoying dinner. We sleep in Enchoro Camp.

Day 3Welcome to Maasai Culture
Activities Included
CultureToday you will enjoy a morning game drive into the reserve and after breakfast you get to discover the culture and traditions of the Maasai people. We will visit our local village, where you learn how to start a fire, how we are building our houses (in our culture, women build houses and so Corinna built ours) and how we are living with our traditions and customs. We go back to camp, pack our things and leave for my guesthouse in the village of my family. Here we will have lunch and you get to know my family and help with the everyday tasks. If you want we can even hike on a nearby mountain where you can enjoy the view. While hiking our warriors will teach you the use of different plants and you will try to spot some smaller animals. In the afternoon you can either learn about making your own jewelry out of beads with the help of the Maasai ladies, visit the local school, learn the skills of the warriors (spear throwing or using bow and arrows) or just enjoy the completely different lifestyle while relaxing in the village. Tonight you will stay in our home and experience our culture and way of life firsthand. Be there when the cows come back from grazing, talk to the people and learn everything about our culture. If you wish, you can also stay in the tented camp for the night at an extra cost. Dinner is a traditional Maasai "Nyama Choma" or barbecue.
Day 4Head Back to Nairobi

Scenic DriveAfter breakfast you will say goodbye to village life and begin to make your way back to Nairobi; stopping to have lunch along the way before again getting on the road. Later in the day you will arrive in Nairobi where you will be dropped off at your designated stop. This is where your safari will end.
