On this day, you will be transferred from the Victoria Falls Airport to the Rainbow Hotel Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. This hotel is a meeting place of four countries and a breathtaking wonder of the world, it symbolizes a space where the world is growing together and a place where lifelong memories and friendships are made. lt is the epitome of all that makes Victoria Falls, as it incorporates international styling yet with a distinctive and outrageous African identity. This morning we visit the spectacular Victoria Falls, also known by the local name "Mosi-oa Tunya" (thundering smoke) and engage in its spectacle. After our visit to the waterfalls, we leave the hustle and bustle of Victoria Falls behind us as we make our way south to Hwange National Park. Hwange is Zimbabwe's largest national park and offers excellent opportunities to observe the diversity of wildlife that calls the park their home. On this day, we shall camp for 1 night in tents or in a double room, at the Hwange Main Camp. This includes a delicious meal served for dinner.

Activities Included

We spend this day within the Hwange National Park, which is home to the renowned Big 5 and also offers a wide selection of flat game and bird life. Guests who have purchased the Activity Pack will be picked up at the property in the morning and spend the day embarking on game drives (in open 4 × 4 vehicles) through the park for some animal or game spotting. We then spend the night camping out in tents or in double rooms in the Hwange Main Camp, with breakfast, lunch and dinner served the next day.

After breakfast, drive south towards Bulawayo, the second largest city in Zimbabwe. In the afternoon, we then explore the Matopos/Matobo National Park with an escort by a local guide. The park was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003 and has an extensive conservation area which is home to both black and white rhinos. Named after the Ndebele word "Matobo", meaning "bald heads" refers to the round granite hills that surround it. After all the activities, we return to Bulawayo and spend the night there. Our accommodation for the evening is the Banff Park Lodge Resort Hotel & Conference Centre, where we spend a night and are provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Today our journey today takes us to Masvingo and the great ruins of Zimbabwe, where we shall enjoy a guided tour of this historic site in the afternoon. The site is marked as a UNESCO World Heritage site, dates back to the late Iron Age and was once the capital of the Kingdom of Zimbabwe. We take our time this afternoon to admire the intricate stonework and experience the legacy of this monument to the early Zimbabwean civilization. Our accommodation for today is the charming Norma Jeans Lake View Resort. We will be spending 1 night here and be provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Today we leave the sites of Zimbabwe behind, cross the Limpopo River and enter South Africa in the afternoon. Our overnight stop allows us an exciting opportunity to end the day with a riveting swim in the hot springs of Tshipise, a charming town in Limpopo. Our accommodation for this day entails a 1 night stay in a tent or double room at the Tshipise Forever Resort and breakfast served the next day.
