Day 1Arrival

Scenic DriveUpon your arrival in Uganda, you will be picked up by the driver who will transfer you to the hotel reserved for you in Kampala.

Day 2travel to kibale forest national park

Scenic Drive Photo-safariEarly in the morning, we leave Kampala after breakfast driving west towards Fort Portal town through Mityana and Mubende towns. The drive will take an average 5 hours to Kibale. Along the way we drive through farm land of the local subsistence farmers and later entering large tea plantations one of the cash crops in Uganda. Here we stop for Photos before continuing to the park. Check into the booked lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Day 3chimpanzee tracking, birding, nature walk

Animal Tracking Game Walk Wilderness Trail Wildlife PhotographyAfter breakfast you report at the Kanyanchu River camp Tourist Centre in the morning for group allocation and briefing by the park ranger guides about Chimpanzee tracking before entering the primate capital of the world. Walk in the tropical forest in search for the wild chimpanzees spend an hour in the habituated communities of chimpanzees observing and taking photographs. After spending an hour with our closes cousins, you will return to the lodge for hot lunch. In the afternoon, we visit Bigodi Wetland sanctuary for a community Nature walk where you are to see many birds like the blue-headed sunbird, black-capped apalis, blue-breasted kingfisher and so many and 4-5 monkey species like red colobus monkeys and L’Hoest monkeys. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Evening DrivesAfter morning breakfast, drive from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National park, driving through the hills of mountain Rwenzori observing small rivers originating from the Rwenzori ranges. Check into the booked lodge for lunch and relaxation. Prepare for the afternoon drive in Mweya, this section is endowed with different animals like antelopes, leopards, warthogs and other wild animals. Return to the lodge for dinner and overstay

Day 5game drive and boat ride along kazinga channel

Boat Cruise Morning Drives Game driveAfter an early morning breakfast you drive to Kasenyi plains for a game drive which may reward you with sights of various animals like hyenas, elephants, buffalos, Ugandan kob, the big cats like lions and leopards as they are out in the morning hunting for prey and so many others. Return to the lodge for Lunch. In the evening, head to the jetty on Kazinga channel for an afternoon boat cruise which is wonder of its own, you can’t imagine how close you get to giant animals like Buffalos and Elephants which come to the banks of the channel to cool off.

Day 6transfer to Bwindi through ishasha sector
Activities Included
Wildlife PhotographyAfter morning breakfast, we drive to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth NP (ISHASHA). It’s the most remote part and less visited though very rich in Game viewing experience under vast rift valley skies, expecting to see tree climbing lions resting up in the branches of shady trees, buffalos, hippos, elephants , topis and many others. We then drive through Maramagambo forest which presents opportunities of seeing some primates such as Baboons, Red tailed Colobus, Black and white Colobus, L’hoest’s monkey, among others. We then stop for lunch and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park .Check into the booked lodge dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable National park
Activities Included
Animal Tracking Wilderness Trail Wildlife PhotographyIn the morning, after breakfast, you transfer to the park headquarters for gorilla family allocation and briefing about the gorilla trekking, start your trek into the impenetrable forest Trekking is very physical but interesting, different vegetation in the forest and atmosphere is rewarding. The trek might be long or short depending on the movements of the Giant apes, but seeing the peaceful giants brings ease in your heart, and hour with them seems like minutes. Return back to the lodge for lunch and resting, prepare for a community walk through the forest edge village which provides an insight into the lives of the local Batwa (pygmy). Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8Lake Bunyonyi Tour and Bird watching

Bird Photography Bird WatchingAfter breakfast you continue driving further south to one of the lava dammed lake which was formed due to flowing lava from volcanoes blocking the river channel forming Lake Bunyonyi "the lake for birds", due to its abundance of small birds in the area. People visit Lake Bunyonyi because of its beauty. Therefore upon arrival, you check in at the lodge and have lunch, then enjoy an active evening watching birds. Overnight stay and dinner at the booked lodge.

Day 9Drive to lake Mburo national Park, boat cruise and evening game drive

Boat Cruise Evening Drives Morning DrivesIn the morning after an early breakfast, we transfer to Lake Mburo National park, Uganda smallest savanna park but offering magical experience such as; Zebra, warthog, Elands, Impala, Giraffes, Buffalos, Leopard, Bushbucks, among others. Upon arrival, we have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride departing from a jetty at the lake side camp and get quite close to the water animals that include Crocodiles and Hippopotamus, birds like the Fish eagles and King fishers. After the boat ride, you will start an evening Game drive as you enjoy a beautiful sunset and exploring the eastern hinterland of the lake providing a chance to see a variety of animals and birds for example impalas, giraffes, zebras and so many others . Return to the lodge for dinner and overstay.

Game WalkAfter breakfast enjoy a walking safari in the park with an experienced game ranger. It’s a very great experience as you get close to wildlife without threatening them which wouldn't be the case if you were in a safari car then drive to Kampala, you will have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to take some photos and craft shopping. Have lunch and then proceed to Kampala en-route to international airport for your home bound or overnight stay in a hotel in Entebbe.
