Day 3Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Activities Included
Landscape photography Wildlife Photography Game drive CultureWe'll start the day with an early morning game drive through the Serengeti before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is a special place in that it is a Conservation Area, not a National Park; this means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the local Maasai people, who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. During the drive in Ngorongoro we have a chance to glimpse something of the Maasai way of life. We will drive around the rim of the Crater itself, where we can enjoy panoramic views of wildebeest or buffalos grazing the plains. This truly world-class attraction is also known as the ’8th Wonder of the World’. After a day spent in the Crater, we'll head onwards to Simba campsite for dinner and a night's rest.
Day 4Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Activities Included
General Photography Landscape photography Scenic Drive Wildlife Photography Game drive Bird Watching CultureAfter breakfast, we'll finally descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino and elusive leopard (if you are lucky). The only animal you won’t see in here is a giraffe, whose long legs are unable to cope with the steeps sides of the crater. In the late afternoon, we'll depart for Arusha. This marks the end of your camping safari trip with us. Enjoy your next adventure!
