Summary
The name of the park is derived from the Great Ruaha River, which flows along its southeastern margin and is the focus for game-viewing. The park can be reached by car on a dirt road from Iringa and there are two airstrips – Msembe airstrip at Msembe (park headquarters), and Jongomeru Airstrip, near the Jongomeru Ranger.

Day 1Dar es Salaam - Ruaha National Park
Activities Included
Bird Photography General Photography Wilderness Trail Wildlife Photography Game driveTransfer to Ruaha National Park after we pick you up from the hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam. You'll have time to eat breakfast, and then depart for the park, followed by lunch upon arrival. Afterward, we go on a game drive until late sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation.

Day 3Ruaha Walking Safari

Game Walk Landscape photography Wilderness Trail Wildlife Photography Bird WatchingToday you'll have a walking safari in Ruaha National Park. This morning you will explore the park by a nature walk for 2 hours with a first-rate guide and two armed park rangers to ensure your safety. The breakfast will be saved for when we reach the end of the trail and then, later on, you'll continue enjoying your game drive. After finishing the game drive you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
