Over the course of 6 days, you will be immersed in wildlife management, learn pivotal bush skills and enjoy your time at the camp and on game drives. Your 5 star accommodation comes with comfortable tents elevated on platforms overlooking the valley. Your room has a twin or king bed, private bathroom and a deck area. Day 1First Day on the Reserve
Activities Included
Game Walk Game drive CultureToday you drive to Gondwana Private Game Reserve, a 4 hours' drive East from Cape Town. You can also book a transfer with us at an additional cost (depending on group size). Arrive on the reserve and familiarize yourself with the landscape. You will be staying in a tented camp, in a spacious and luxurious 5 star tented room. You will be staying here for 3 nights. Your tented room has a spacious private bathroom and a lovely viewing deck. Meet the conservationists with whom you will be working to manage the reserve. You will receive an introduction to the reserve and wildlife management, alien-plant management and anti-poaching. You will head out for your first game drive and/or game walk.

Day 2Conservation Work
Activities Included
CultureOn your second day you will follow the conservationists on foot and by car on their job. This is an immersive opportunity where you get to actively participate in whatever needs doing on this day. It can be monitoring specific animals, anti-poaching efforts, collaring, removing alien flora, installing camera-traps or evaluating information. You will also learn useful bush survival skills today. In the evening you return to your tented camp for your dining experience.

Day 3Conservation Work
Activities Included
CultureEarly in the morning you will set off for a second day together with the conservationists. Again, you will be working on whatever project is ongoing at the moment and you will deepen your knowledge about animal behavior, wildlife management, our ecological philosophy, anti-poaching and much more. Return to camp tonight for a sumptuous and well deserved meal.

Day 4Continue to Tsitsikamma
Activities Included
CultureIn the early morning you will set off for your last exploration of the reserve. Return for breakfast and further discussions with our conservationists. Then, continue to Knysna, the quaint sea-side town, for lunch. Afterwards we drive to the exclusive and quaint little town of St Francis. Here we will check in to a luxurious villa and braai together.

Day 5Full Day at Tsitsikamma National Park
Activities Included
Snorkeling CultureToday is an action packed adventure. We will either snorkel or kayak in the Storm's River Gorge, inside Tsitsikamma National Park. A guided snorkeling trip begins with a briefing on the gear, fin techniques and snorkeling skills so that you won’t be out of your depth when you are in deep waters. This is followed by a guided snorkeling adventure around the breath-taking reefs at Storms River Mouth. Kayaking is offered as an alternative in summer. We will sleep at in St Francis at the villa tonight.

Day 6Surf and head home
Activities Included
Surfing CultureIn the morning and after breakfast, we will go surfing. We return to the villa and pack up and leave. We will drive to Port Elizabeth Airport but can take you to Cape Town at a surcharge if you prefer (price depends on group size).
