Day 1Meet in Port Elizabeth

Camping Cooking Culture

Today Felsch will meet you in Port Elizabeth, at the airport or wherever you prefer. You will then head up to Addo National Park, home of the Big 7: That is counting whales and sharks besides your classic animals which are lions, leopards, buffalo, rhino and elephants. Go on a game drive before settling in to your secluded camping grounds. These come with clean bathroom facilities. Help Felsch in building the glamping tents. These are spacious dome tents that come with beds, bedlinen and other comforts. Drink a sundowner cocktail and braai together - braaing is South African style BBQ and on request (in advance) we can braai vegetarian or vegan for you as well.

Day 2Full Day Game Drive

Camping Cooking Culture

Today we wil go on a full day game drive in Addo, exploring the incredible flora and fauna and trying to see as many different animals as possible. Addo is a relaxed and beautiful park and we are sure you will have a wonderful time. Eat packed lunch or return to camp for something more solid. Continue until late afternoon and head back to camp for sundowners and braai.

Day 3Head to St. Francis

Today we go on our last morning game drive after packing up camp. We then head to St Francis (ca 2.5 hour drive) where we will check in to our gorgeous seaside villa. Get settled and then join us for a sunset walk to the lighthouse. Here we might also see some penguins. Dinner at own accord in town.

Day 4Surf and Whale Safari

Activities Included

Boat Cruise Surfing Whale watching Culture

We start the day with a surfing lesson together with a professional surfer and St Francis native. Lunch at own accord and then we head out on the Indian Ocean on a speed boat. We will look for whales, dolphins and sharks and the chances of spotting are really good with Felsch, who is also a certified skipper. We return home and braai on the veranda of the villa.

Day 5Goodbye

Activities Included

Hiking Culture

Today is your last day with us. Go on a hike from the house to the main beach or swim before we drive back to Port Elizabeth (ca 1 hour). Against an extra fee we can also drive you to to Cape Town (ca 8 hours). Extend your stay with us by booking one of our many safaris throughout Africa.
