Day 1Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes National Park

General Photography Landscape photography Township tour CultureGreetings, and a warm welcome to Rwanda! Our friendly and professional tour guide will pick you up from the airport or your accommodation and brief you on your upcoming adventure. Then, we're headed to Kigali to enjoy a city tour! Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, the Nyabugogo market, a pottery project, the Moslem quarter in Nyamirambo, and the Franco-Rwanda cultural centre. After lunch in the city, we'll drive north of Kigali to Volcanoes National Park. Tonight, we'll stay in Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge.

Day 2Gorilla Trekking

Animal Tracking General Photography Wilderness Trail Wildlife Photography Bird Watching CultureAfter breakfast at the lodge, you'll be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing at 8.00 AM sharp. You'll have to carry a packed lunch, as you'll be spending all day in the jungle on the lookout for gorillas. It's impossible to predict if or when you will see these elusive giants; it may take anywhere between 2 and 8 hours (on average) before you encounter them. Nevertheless, meeting these great apes is a truly thrilling and incomparable experience, well worth the wait! If you complete your trip relatively early, you may choose to retire to a nearby hotel for a refreshing drink, or you can take an optional cultural tour so as to have an opportunity to interact with the friendly local people At the end of the day, we'll return to Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge for dinner.
Day 3Golden Monkey tour & transfer back to Kigali

Animal Tracking General Photography Wilderness Trail Wildlife Photography Bird WatchingAwake early in the morning and, after breakfast, depart for your Golden Monkey Trek. Thereafter, your guide will arrange for your transfer back to Kigali, where you can be dropped off at the airport or at your privately-arranged accommodation.
