Our day starts at aprox 8:30 when we collect you from your accomodation in Walvis Bay or Swakopmund, and after a short briefing we depart in our 4x4 vehicle towards the little mining town Usakos. Known for its semi precious stones, Usakos also has magnificent views of the mountain range and photos are a must at this town. ​ We arrive at Spitzkoppe at about 10:00 and then we view the ancient bushmen artwork. After learning about the geology of The Spitzkoppe, you will have ample time to relax and explore the area and make use of the fantastic photo opportunities. ​ While you are exploring we set up lunch which is an assortment of finger snacks, cold drinks, wine, beer and local sweets. ​ From here we depart to the stone market, an informal market that sells semi recious stones that are mined in the area, here you have the chance to purchase some of them. ​ Next we head to the Moonlandscape. an extremely arid region of Namibia that was formed 500 million years ago as Damara granites pushed through the Earths' surface to form this odd "moonlike" surface.
