Summary
This tour gives you a one-stop safari experience of West Africa. We'll visit two of the most vibrant wildlife locations in West Africa: Pendjari National Park and the W National Park, both located in northern Benin. Pendjari National park is surrounded by the beautiful Atakora Mountains and accompanying waterfall. The park is home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, baboons and plenty more. From Pendjari, the tour continues to the W National park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park spans the countries of Niger, Benin, and Burkina Faso. It is known for its large mammals, and provides a home for some of West Africa's last wild African elephants. From W National park, we'll descend into Natitingou, where we stopover for the night and enjoy a bit of cultural exposure in the Tata Somba villages, before proceeding back to Cotonou to end the trip. This tour can be modified with the inclusion of return flight from Cotonou to Natitingou, so that you may start the tour from there to Pendjari National Park. The tour may be undertaken in a group, a budget-friendly option for friends or family. The cost of the tour package is subject to change, as hotel rates and gasoline prices fluctuate regularly. However, the tour is also flexible enough to suit your personal budget and travel wishes. While the tour is in session, visitors may be lucky enough to bear witness to any number of significant cultural events in Logba Tota - a naming ceremony, a local festival, drumming and dancing, or a church service.

When we've arrived in the park, we'll begin our safari. Keep an eye out for elephants! They are deceptively quiet and sometimes hard to spot for such enormous creatures. After a day in the park, we'll return to Natitingou, where you'll spend the night. Guests may wish to visit one of the Tata Somba villages in town for an experience of local architecture, or pay a visit to the town Museum.
