Summary
On this amazing tour, have a chance to experience the fascinating Kissama or Quicama region. Our first stop along will be the Miradouro da Lua (Viewpoint of the Moon), which is a spectacular landscape shaped by years of rain and erosion that allows for the best view of the moonscape and the extraordinary panorama. We make another stop along the way in the Barra do Kwanza (or Barra do Cuanzo), at the Kwanza Lodge so we can catch a glimpse of the stunning Rio Kwanza. Our final destination on the tour is the Kissama National Park, where we will have lunch and overnight, as well as where the main highlight of the safari can officially begin.

Day 1First night in Kissama National Park

General Photography Landscape photography Scenic Drive CultureOn this first day of the tour, we kick off with and early start as we have many amazing visits planned along the way, as we move towards the Parque Nacional da Kissama (Quicama National Park). We will visit the Miradourto da Lua (Viewpoint of the Moon), where you can get the best view of the moonscape from a natural rock formation; the next stop is the Kwanza lodge to have some Angolan traditionally brewed coffee and a morning chill out. Once all that is done, we can finally head over to the National Park, where we will embark on an exciting 2-hour long safari tour. After that, lunch will be served. During or after the lunch, you will be regaled with tales and stories about the great country of Angola and the National Park. Then we return to the accommodation for the night for dinner and a gathering around a cozy campfire.

After that, it is time for some well-deserved breakfast. Once that is done, you will be heading out for a relaxing boat cruise to aid in good digestion. Then it is time for lunch, before you begin your preparations to return to Luanda, as this marks the end of our amazing tour! We hope you enjoyed it!
